On behalf of the Lanesboro Public Library staff, its board and its Friends organization, we want to thank all the wonderful volunteers who helped with the library’s recent renovation. For two weeks, 90 people donated 380 hours moving and packing books, moving shelves and furniture, modifying shelves, cleaning, painting, and then returning it all into a bright, open new space. The resulting atmosphere is even more inviting than we had dreamed. We are grateful to live among neighbors who enthusiastically support this vital educational and recreational resource, and we invite all area residents to come in and see the results!
