Happy Days are Here Again: Uplifting Songs of the Greatest Generation

A big thank you to everyone who came to enjoy Rhonda Laurie and Sidewalk Cafe perform at the Library on Thursday, Feb. 17th in celebration of the Library’s 96th birthday!

It was a fabulous show featuring the uplifting hits of the Greatest Generation, along with the stories behind the songs and the times that inspired them.  Everyone LOVED it!!

Our sincere thanks to Rhonda Laurie and Sidewalk Cafe for giving us a truly enjoyable night of wonderful music and nostalgia!

Our thanks, too, to the Friends of the Library for such delicious refreshments.

Minnesota’s Greatest Generation programs are presented by Minnesota Regional Public Libraries in partnership with the MN Historical Society.  Made possible by the Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund created through the passage of the Clean Water, Land and Legacy Amendment by the vote of Minnesotans in Nov. 2008.
